I know how to say a lot of things in Japanese. And they are all inflammatory. That is what happens when you learn a language from an exchange student in high school. If ever I visit that great land, I may not be able to get directions to one of their magic robot toilets, but I will be able to pick a fight with someone five different ways. And this is way international student exchange programs are so successful. HI-YA!
Anyway, in the coming weeks I’ll be posting pages from the Manga comic I did for Shadow’s at the Water’s Edge, the spine-tingling Nancy Drew PC Adventure that sets the plucky teenage sleuth in the heart of the Rising Sun to deduce what villain stole the Emperor’s lady-shaped pillow I think, I honestly couldn’t get through the first few puzzles but I think that’s how it went down.
Hope you enjoy it, and don’t get too distracted by the fact that I keep giving my characters the same haircut.
Oh, I should point out that most of the script was written by Nik Blahunka, but I added my share of zingers and weird visual gags.
